Help & Guide
How to get the most out of Composer.AI
How to describe your song
- Be specific: genre, mood, instruments, tempo, artist references
- Good:
"Melancholic lo-fi hip hop, muted trumpet, vinyl crackle, 85 BPM, like Nujabes" - Bad:
"Make a sad song" - All input modes combine: Describe + Lyrics + Reference + URL work together
Input modes
- Describe — free text → Gemini translates to model prompt
- Write lyrics — your exact words preserved; only style generated by Gemini
- Reference melody — upload audio → Gemini extracts key/tempo/mood/instruments
- From URL — YouTube/SoundCloud/Shazam → artist+title → Gemini infers style (no audio download — CF Pages limitation)
Models
- SongGeneration 2 (recommended) — [verse]/[chorus] format, multilingual, FLAC output, ~1.5–2 min
- DiffRhythm — [0.0] timestamp format, currently slow/unreliable
- Default to SongGeneration 2
Lyrics format
- SongGeneration 2:
[verse] Line one [chorus] Chorus line
- DiffRhythm:
[0.0]Line one [4.5]Line two
Gemini auto-formats in Describe mode.
Continue & segments
- Continue → Gemini analyzes last segment (key, tempo, mood) → coherent next part
